Sunday I helped set up and attended the latest Portland Bloggers Meet Up. It was so much fun! The idea behind the event was to gather a group of photographers and fashion bloggers to help other bloggers learn how to take better pictures for their blog as well as get 5 or so great headshots for their blogs.
I volunteered to help set up and try to alleviate some stress off of the planning group. I LOVE to help out the planning crew and think it is fun to be busy! I got there a bit early and set up the food with Bee which came from my favorite ever Elephants Deli. Then I helped greet people and get them moving around The Space.
The photographers got a list of bloggers that they were in charge of shooting (Jenni even put me on the list even though I was just there to set up) and a stylist to help them out in the shoot. There were also two jewelry reps from Glass Cast and Chloe and Isabel there to lend out their goods for the photos and a make up and hair artist. Even Bettie Page a vintage dress shop lent out some dresses to girls the day before. Everyone was set.
My photographer was Jenn Pfaus. She was so incredibly easy to work with. My Stylist was Jade Rose and she had such wonderful advice about where to put my hands and feet to look slimmer and not so much like a dork. She just got engaged so her blog is going to be full of fun extra fashionable stuff so make sure to check it out! You can check out some of the finished pictures of me here, on Jenn's blog. ![]() |

And something a little fun - this crazy cinemagraph made by Erin. She didn't have an iPhone and I don't think that apple has the same app. But this was cool!
If you are a blogger in the area (or not but can come to the area) check out the other Portland Blogger Meet Ups. Also let me know if you want to come to see OZ on Friday!
A big thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors. Each of these companies/individuals/blogs contributed in making the Portland Bloggers' Strike a Pose event successful and affordable.
THANK YOU!
